Real Madrid best team in second half of laliga season

Madrid have picked up 35 points with 11 wins and 46 goals scored.

After 14 games, Real Madrid are the best team in La Liga during the second half of the season. The Whites have registered 35 points so far, more than both Atlético de Madrid (32) and Barcelona (31). Real Madrid's record is 11 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. They are also the team with the best scoring record thanks to 46 goals. 

In this run of games, the performances of Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu stand out for the number of goals scored. The Whites have 30 goals from 7 games at home, an average of over four per match. On the road they are the only team to have not been beaten away from home during the second half of the season. 

Final stages
There are only five games left and two of those will be at the Bernabéu with three coming away from home. In the next game, Real Madrid will welcome Villarreal (Wednesday 10:00pm CEST) with the other home match coming in the penultimate week against Valencia. Away from home the Whites will visit Rayo Vallecano (23 April, 4:00pm CEST), Real Sociedad (30 April, 4:00pm CEST) and Deportivo in the last match of the season.

Zidane praise Ronaldo for his display against Bilbao

The French coach moved the Portuguese attacker from the centre to the flank for Saturday's match against Athletic and feels the change worked well as they went on to win 4-2.
