Spanish giants Real Madrid followed in second with £112m and United’s rivals Manchester City were third with £91m.
English clubs dominated the top ten with Arsenal in their favourite position of fourth after making £84m and Liverpool came fifth with £79m.
La Liga leaders Barcelona made £75m while Juventus – who are the only Italian team in the top ten – came seventh with £56m profit.
Tottenham, Schalke and Bayern Munich made up the rest of the top ten.
The results will put a smile on United chiefs as they top the table after a disastrous season on the pitch.
United are currently fifth and are desperately trying to overtake Arsenal for fourth spot and secure Champions League football next season.
