Iheanacho, its a dream come true to share the pitch with Ronaldo
The Manchester City striker is relishing the opportunity to play against the Spanish giants - and Cristiano Ronaldo in particular - in Tuesday's Champions League semi-final
Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho says it would be a dream come true to play against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Iheanacho scored twice and won a penalty to be named man of the match as the Citizens beat Stoke City on Saturday, their final game before taking on Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old is likely to start the game against Los Blancos on the bench, having made just two separate one-minute cameos in the knockout stages so far, but was noticably excited at the thought of sharing a pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo & Co.
"I think I should dream about that because it's a great team to dream about," he said, with a broad smile across his face. "It would be a dream come true to play against them. I think I'll be happy when I play against them.
"Ronaldo and Messi are the greatest players on the planet so I think playing against them is a big thing to anyone, so it would be a big thing to me if I play against him [Ronaldo] on Tuesday."
